First up you have Formula One, on at a decent time in the states. That race was just ridiculous. Right after you got IndyCar at Road America, followed by NASCAR at Sonoma. One right after anything.
Monaco is a parade. As illustrious as Indy is, it’s oval, and even though I don’t mind ovals there is more exciting oval races on the calendar. And the Coca Cola 600 is 200 miles too long.
Tell me I’m wrong, I’ll fight you.

Definitely liked watching Memorial Day better. But that’s just me.

The memorial day races are great, but I won’t disagree that the actual product was better today. Baku was insane. Monaco is rarely a fun race to watch. I personally prefer either Monza or Suzuka race weekends, simply because they’re my favorite races.

Pike’s Peak was this weekend too wasn’t it?

We did have pretty good storylines for the Memorial weekend races I suppose.

I was at NASCAR in Sonoma. Can confirm it was fucking awesome.

It’s a tough call. The Indy 500 might be on an oval, but to me it’s anything but boring. I did enjoy the Sonoma race more than Charlotte, and as for F1, I’d rather sleep in instead of watching just for the slim chance that something interesting happens. I know that today’s F1 race was full of excitement, but that’s the exception to the norm.
Ultimately, I’ll take Memorial Day weekend racing over this weekend because it includes a paid holiday the following day. I’m not thrilled about going back to work tomorrow.

Wow, that does suck. I love the races that start just after midnight on a Saturday night.
